Artist Research and Ideas
Before I began my first photo shoot I researched my topic on Google and Pinterest to make up a list of ideas I could base my work around to start off my project.
Click on my artist research's names to view my research.
After researching my topic I produced my list of ideas;
-
Change models heads into emoji's, fruit or animals.
-
Layer a face over hands covering their face.
-
Layer textures over a face and blend to show a textured portrait.
-
Paint around the main details of a naked chest/body or face.
-
Drip paint from full face or eyes/mouth.
-
Use a hand and chance the fingers into cigarettes holding a burning decaying finger.
-
Distorting portrait with effects and dragging around the face.
-
Peeling/scratching away skin leaving words/newspaper articles.
-
Cover head with bubble wrap or other materials.
-
Sequence of someone screaming and calm, mix layers and opacity to show inner 'animal'.
-
A close-up of someones face and a 'mini-me' crawled up inside their mind.
This is my pinterest board that I have created displaying ideas and inspirational photographs which have helped me develop my portfolio;
“For me, the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.”
