This is a series of portraits called 'Segundas Pieles' created by Miguel Vallinas. Vallinas uses animals heads to replace the models heads creating a still-life image; he links the animal with the clothing used.

I find this photograph rather elegant and casual. There is a pink colour scheme and the flamingo's neck is long and graceful instead of scrunched up and short.

I like how the photographer has used smart female clothing for the flamingo as they are seen as beautiful animals and has clothed the model in a blazer, lace dress and a clutch bag.

I think that Vallinas doesn't show skin as the model could be male or female, no one knows which means that no prejudice or sexism is used in these series of portraits.

The owl has been presented in a cosy, warm, fluffy coat. The colours are pastel and light instead of vibrant and bright which gives the photograph a soft tone and mood.

The model's hands have been hidden and no skin has been shown.

I like how the Vallinas has blended the background into the coat as the black fades in, looking like shadows.

I like the owl's eyes as they are big and cute looking, which is why I think Vallinas chose a fury coat.

In this photograph, the monkey looks rather cheeky but old, the model has been clothed in a jumper, shirt and jeans which is what a middle aged man would wear; which shows that the photographer has linked the animal with the right aged clothing and gender.

Vallinas covers the models hands with gloves and doesn't show any skin apart from the head which has been turned into an animal.

I like how the shadows hide one side of the body giving the photograph a mysterious feel.
