Firstly, I turned up both the brightness and the contrast, this made the photograph lighter and vivid.

Secondly, I slightly turned up the shadows and highlights, I only turned them up by a few percentage as it made a big difference towards the photograph.
For my last step, I changed the photograph to black and white and seperately edited all colour tones to edit specific black tones in each areas of the photograph.
This made the photograph look more bold and powerful as it is just simply black and white.
I like my original photograph as the model is turning her face away from the camera to look like she doesn't want her photograph taken.
Her lips are slightly parted which look soft and I like how she looks graceful but forced and uncomfortable.
