Step by step guide
Step One
My first step that I completed was adjusting the shadows and highlights. this lightened my photograph and darkened the texture and shadows creating stronger, vivid detail.
Step Three
For my third step I slightly turned down the brightness and turned up the contrast.
This made the texture more detailed and brought out more shadows.

Step Two
Secondly I changed the colour variations.
I increased the red colour tones and lightened the image more.
This gave the photograph a more red tint to make the photograph more vibrant.
Step Four

Original image
To complete my photograph I adjusted the levels, this brought out the freckles on her skin as they became darker and her skin looked smoother.
It darkened the midtones and highlights and made the texture look more crisp and interesting.
This my original photograph
I like the angle of the photograph as I chose the side of the model's face as it shows more of the material compared to if I was taking a photograph of the front of the model.
I like the relflection of colours of the material in the lighting I chose. I kept the shadows on the wall as I like how they fade out in lines.
